The extension that would change this has been specified three different ways in dated official statements since 2022 — three lengths, three station counts, three costs — and this page quotes each version with its source and date rather than picking one and calling it the plan.

Quick answer · 3 September 2026 — The same pair, for every sector in the belt: Noida Sector 51 and Noida Sector 52, at the boundary where Greater Noida West meets Noida. Sector 51 is the Aqua Line’s terminus — the line has run 21 stations and 29.7 km from there to Depot in Greater Noida since 25 January 2019, per an encyclopaedic source read today — and Sector 52 on Delhi Metro’s Blue Line stands 430 metres from it, per February 2024 coverage of the corridor plan. July 2026 coverage of the extension put it plainly: over 5 lakh Greater Noida West residents currently have no metro access. Which road you take to the Sector 51/52 pair, and how long it takes, depends on your sector and your hour — we measured no routes, so this page prints no per-sector kilometres.
What actually runs: the Aqua Line, ending at Noida Sector 51
The Aqua Line runs 21 stations over 29.7 km, from Noida Sector 51 to Depot in Greater Noida, and has been operational since 25 January 2019. Its route serves Noida and Greater Noida proper — the expressway-side and Alpha/Knowledge Park side of the city — and passes no closer to Greater Noida West than its Sector 51 terminus. The Blue Line’s Noida Sector 52 station stands 430 metres from Sector 51, which is why the two get named together as this belt’s access pair.
From Sector 12, portals say about 10 minutes — we say time it yourself
For Sector 12, Greater Noida West, portals report roughly a 10-minute drive to the existing Noida Sector 52 station — a reported figure our La Vida Bella location page carries with the same label, because we have timed nothing. A drive-time without an hour attached is barely a fact: the 130-metre link road at 8 am and at noon are different roads. The only version of this number worth acting on is the one you clock yourself, from your own tower’s gate.

For today, every row reads the same: the nearest operating stations are the Sector 51/52 pair at the Noida edge. The corridor’s Noida-side stations — Sector 61, Sector 70, Sector 122, Sector 123 — appear in the Feb 2024 list and the Jul 2026 leg; Sector 61 is the planned Blue Line interchange. A station “on paper” here means exactly that: named in a dated statement about a corridor that has not started construction in anything we read. Each row reproduces that source’s own figures; where sources disagree at the second decimal — 17.43 against 17.435 — we print both rather than smoothing them. A second report of the Nov 2022 clearance (Metro Rail Today, 12 Dec 2022) gives 14.95 km and a Rs 2,200 crore total it says was reduced from an expected Rs 2,457 crore — same event, same week, different figures, which is the whole reason this table carries a source on every row.
July 2026: a shorter first leg, back before the board
The most recent statement we could read has NMRC presenting a 7.5 km, five-station, Rs 1,500 crore first leg — Sector 51 to Kisan Chowk — at a Public Investment Board meeting, described as a mandatory step before construction approval. The report says construction would begin after that approval and take roughly two years, and frames resident access as expected by 2028–2029. That is the report’s expectation, quoted as such — not a date any authority has committed to in anything we read. We searched for a Union Cabinet approval after this presentation and found none reported as of 3 September 2026.
How to read any date you are quoted
The December 2022 coverage of this corridor targeted work beginning around March 2023, with completion once expected by end-2024. In July 2026 the corridor was still at a pre-approval presentation, now for a shorter first leg. That gap — between a published expectation and a pre-approval reality four years later — is the single most useful fact on this page for weighing the 2028–2029 expectation now in print. A metro date becomes real when construction is tendered and visible, not when it is presented.

Is there a metro station in Sector 12, Greater Noida West?
Not an operating one. Sector 12 does appear in the extension’s paperwork trail: the 11-station list reported in February 2024 names a Greater Noida Sector 12 station, and November 2024 coverage of the UP cabinet approval places it in phase 2. The 7.5 km first leg presented to the Public Investment Board in July 2026 stops at Greater Noida Sector 4 near Kisan Chowk and does not include it. So a Sector 12 station exists on paper, in a later phase, with no construction start or opening date attached in anything we could read.
